Lego® Serious Play® at the Leuphana University

A couple of weeks ago we went to the beautiful little town Lüneburg to give a workshop at the renowned Leuphana University. The university is known for its focus on sustainability. I learned from the participants that almost every student at this university is part of an association or a project that is aiming to challenge and change the status quo on mostly social topics.

The group experienced the method during a one-day workshop and got some interesting insights. The goal was to create a shared identity as a company (as an example we used a virtual company).

Some of the main insights were, that the Lego Serious Play method helps to make strategic decisions in a very democratic way, that self-reflection is so important, but missing in our work, that you can visualize abstract concept with the method and that it makes it easy to gain empathy for other perspectives.

We really loved the beautiful insights and enjoyed to be surrounded by such highly motivated and smart people!
